María Consuelo Rocha |
Maria Consuelo just completed her Master´s thesis on the evaluation of dihydroorotase (TgDHO), the third enzyme of the de novo pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway of Toxoplasma gondii, as a target for drug development against toxoplasmosis. She subcloned, expressed and purified TgDHO, and measured kinetic parameters of the recombinant enzyme. Currently, she is doing experiments to determine the expression levels of TgDHO in different stages of the parasite´s life cycle. E-mail: Esta dirección electrónica esta protegida contra spam bots.
